Details

This project developed an Excavating Machine and Feeding Machine for In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU). In order to secure reliability in extreme environments on the moon or Mars, it is designed to mine and contain resources with a minimum of actuators. In particular, for a 1g mining machine, the mechanism is designed to allow an accurate weight of 1g to be put into the gas generator.
